Adult ADHD Diagnosis in Munich

1. Initial consultation (50 min): concern, life history, current symptoms and level of distress. Indication for a full assessment is clarified.
2. Structured diagnostics: DIVA-5 (diagnostic interview), CAARS (self- and observer ratings), WURS-K (retrospective childhood symptoms), screening for comorbidities.
3. Differential diagnosis: distinguishing from anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, autism spectrum, sleep and thyroid disorders.
4. Feedback session & written report: diagnosis disclosure with treatment recommendation (psychotherapy, medication, coaching).

The full assessment takes about 3.5 to 4 hours. It can be spread over 3 to 4 sessions or — if time is tight — completed in a single appointment.
