Initial contact
The first appointment is always in person at Nußbaumstraße 14 (5 minutes on foot from Sendlinger Tor — U1/U2/U3/U6, tram 16/17/18), 60–90 minutes, with initial screening. The full ADHD assessment takes about 3.5 hours and can be done in a single day on request.

Validated instruments (DIVA-5, CAARS, WURS-K) plus review of school and biographical records.

Where possible, input from parents, partners or former teachers to confirm symptom patterns in childhood and now.

Distinguishing ADHD from anxiety, mood, trauma and personality disorders as well as somatic causes.

- First ADHD appointments are always in person, in line with the S3 guideline and for reliable diagnosis.
- Patients with statutory (public) German health insurance are treated as self-payers; we do not bill statutory insurers directly.
- Check with your private health insurance or Beihilfe in advance whether reimbursement is possible, so you know any co-payment.

All prices are indicative for self-payers. Final invoicing follows the German medical fee schedule (GOÄ) based on scope and individual case.

- How long does the ADHD assessment take?
- About 3.5–4 hours in total. It can be spread over 3–4 sessions or, if time is tight, completed in a single appointment. Extensive differential work may extend it slightly.
- Should I bring school records?
- Yes, if available. School reports, appraisals and older medical documents help us reconstruct symptoms back into childhood.
- Will I automatically be prescribed medication?
- No. Diagnosis and treatment are separate steps. Medication is started only after informed consent and a shared decision.
- Can the assessment be done entirely online?
- No. For diagnostic reliability the first appointment is in person. Some follow-ups may be by video.
